What is the difference between a large-format display and a consumer TV?

A large-format display is a commercial panel built for retail, hospitality, offices and public spaces. Commercial models are rated for long daily operating hours, many can be mounted in portrait, and they add professional inputs and remote management so IT can control every screen on a site. A consumer TV is designed for evenings at home. If the screen works for your business every day, specify a commercial model.

How do I choose the right screen size and resolution?

Start with how far away people will stand and what they need to read. A screen seen across a lobby or showroom floor needs more size than one read at arm's length, and dense content such as menus, dashboards or product imagery benefits from 4K resolution. Bright, window-facing spaces also call for a higher-brightness panel. Put the room, viewing distance and content in your quote request so your account manager can quote the right model.

What should I confirm before ordering a commercial display?

Check four things: the inputs against your media player or source, the VESA mounting pattern against your wall mount or stand, landscape or portrait orientation, and whether your team needs remote management across locations. Then match the duty rating to your operating hours. List your current player, mount and hours in your quote request, and your account manager will quote models that work with what you already have.
