From mainframe supplies to the modern workplace
In 1979, Garo Nichanian founded Dataworld in Montreal. He had spent years inside the computer divisions of ICL, Honeywell and Xerox of Canada, and he saw the micro-computing wave coming before most of the market did. Dataworld started by supplying corporate users of mainframe and dedicated word-processing systems, then grew into a value-added distributor and authorized reseller for the manufacturers that defined the industry. Three generations of customers later, the business still runs on the same idea: quality product, honest pricing, and a fast, human answer when you need to buy.
