AI Hardware to Run Models on Your Own Infrastructure

The models your teams use every day now run on hardware you own. A desktop AI station holds a 200-billion-parameter model; a single GPU server serves a whole department. Your data stays in your building and in Canada, and there is no per-token bill. Dataworld supplies the newest NVIDIA Grace Blackwell stations, professional and data centre GPUs, and GPU servers from HP, HPE and Lenovo, sized to what you want to run.

Desktop AI Stations

For one developer, analyst or researcher who wants to prototype, fine-tune and run models privately.

The NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip with 128 GB of unified memory, in a box that fits in one hand. HP, Lenovo and Acer each build one; all run models of up to 200 billion parameters. To add the same class of capacity to an existing workstation, the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell carries 96 GB of GPU memory on one card.

Shared AI Servers

For a department that wants one private assistant, search or coding tool for everyone, on hardware it controls.

The HP ZGX Fury puts an NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip and 748 GB of coherent memory in a tower that also mounts in a rack, built for trillion-parameter inference. For the server room, the HPE ProLiant DL380a Gen11 takes up to four double-wide GPUs in 2U, and the DL385 Gen11 ships configured with the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition.

Data Centre GPU Systems

For organizations serving AI across many teams, or training and fine-tuning their own models.

The HPE Cray XD685 carries one eight-GPU board per server: NVIDIA HGX H200, B200 or HGX B300, or AMD Instinct MI355X, liquid cooled in 5U or air cooled in 6U for H200. For PCIe servers, the NVIDIA H200 NVL adds 141 GB of GPU memory per card and links up to four cards together.

Why Run AI on Your Own Hardware

Privacy first: contracts, health and financial records, source code and anything covered by Quebec's Loi 25 never leave hardware you control, and never sit in another company's logs. Cost next: a cloud AI bill grows with every user and every query, while owned hardware is a fixed purchase your team can use as much as it likes. And control: you choose the models, when they change and who can reach them.

How to Size AI Hardware

Memory decides which models a system can run: the model has to fit in GPU or unified memory, with room left for the conversations it is handling. Users decide the rest. One person working with a large model fits on a desktop station; dozens of people sharing an assistant need a server with several GPUs. Tell us the models you plan to run and how many people will use them, and we will match the memory, the GPU count and the form factor before we quote.

GPU Servers Configured to Order

Most GPU servers are built to order: the GPU board, processors, memory, storage and networking are chosen for the job. We configure them across HPE, Lenovo and other major brands, check current availability through our distribution partners and send an itemized written quote in CAD. If you already have a specification or a brand in mind, include it with your request.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is local or on-premises AI?
It means running AI models on computers you own, in your office or data centre, instead of sending every request to a cloud service. Your documents and prompts stay on your hardware, and the cost is the hardware, not a bill per user or per query.
What is the difference between a DGX Spark, an HP ZGX Nano and a Lenovo ThinkStation PGX?
All three are built on the same NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip with 128 GB of unified memory. They differ in the maker's design, storage options, warranty and support, so the right one usually follows the brand your IT team already supports.
Do you sell NVIDIA H200 and Blackwell GPUs?
Yes. We supply the NVIDIA H200 NVL and RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell as cards for HPE and Lenovo servers, and eight-GPU HGX H200, B200 and B300 systems as part of a configured server. Data centre GPUs are usually quoted with the server they go into.
Why do some systems show no price?
GPU servers are configured to order, so their price depends on the GPUs, memory and storage you choose. Request a quote with your workload and we will price the exact configuration in CAD.
Do you work with universities and public sector buyers?
Yes. Dataworld has been Canadian-owned since 1979 and works within each institution's purchasing process, including purchase orders and the documents a funded research project needs. Quotes are in English or French.

Tell Us What You Want to Run

The models, how many people will use them and whether data must stay on site. We match the hardware and send a written quote in CAD, in English or French.
