All sales are subject to Dataworld’s TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Products are available for purchase by Canadian customers who take delivery in Canada. We cannot ship orders to P.O. Box addresses.
Pricing:
All prices are in Canadian Dollars. Prices in the catalog are subject to change without notice, but will be confirmed upon acceptance of the order by Dataworld. Applicable shipping and handling charges and the appropriate sales taxes will be added to the order.
Payment:
Orders will be shipped after approval of credit card number.
Warranty:
Products shipped by Dataworld are warranted by the respective manufacturers. For details see the Applicable Statements of Limited Warranties that are shipped with products and/or their documentation.
DATAWORLD'S RETURN POLICIES
Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. When you receive your package, we ask that you examine it closely for any visible packaging damage prior to opening the factory sealed product packaging. If you are not satisfied with your order, please call your Dataworld Account Manager at 514-738-6350 or at 1-800-561-1851, or request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number at sales@dataworld.ca. It will take approximately 2 business days before an RMA is issued to you.
To Ease the RMA Process :
- Keep all original packaging as you received it for at least 30 days.
- Keep all products in new condition.
- Do not remove UPC codes or serial numbers. Boxes without UPC codes or serial numbers will be refused.
- Do not write or mark the packaging, contents or warranty registration cards.
- Products, whether defective or not, must be returned in the manufacturer's original packaging and the carton must include all components and other items originally packaged with the product: cables, software, manuals, registration and warranty cards etc. Linked promotional items must also be included.
- Please note all additional return conditions below for IBM, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Toshiba, APC, Software and other products.
General Returns Conditions - Applicable to ALL Returns:
- Shipping charges are not refundable.
- Customer is responsible for shipping charges and risk of loss on all return shipments. Dataworld highly recommends using a reputable shipping carrier capable of providing proof of delivery, as well as properly packing and fully insuring your return shipment. We are not responsible for lost returns.
- No returns will be accepted without prior authorization and a Dataworld return merchandise authorization ("RMA") number. IMPORTANT: Products returned without a valid RMA # appearing on the exterior packaging will be refused.
- All products (both defective and non-defective) must be returned in original purchase condition, with the original packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and any other item or accessory provided by the manufacturer. IMPORTANT: Returned orders with items missing will result in rejection of the return or an additional restocking fee, at Dataworld's sole discretion.
- RMA numbers issued by Dataworld are good for 5 days only, and product must be received by Dataworld within that time. RMA numbers cannot be extended or re-issued.
- Where a specific return period is applicable, no returns will be accepted beyond that period.
- Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to the same card. The credit will be made within five weeks of receipt and verification of the merchandise.
Please note all additional returns conditions stated below, as applicable to your return :
- IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Toshiba and APC Products that have been opened are NOT RETURNABLE TO DATAWORLD.
- MEMORY: Lifetime warranty for all current products. For discontinued products, customers must refer direct to the manufacturer for warranty service. OPEN BOXES OR BROKEN SEALS ARE NOT RETURNABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
Due to fluctuations in memory pricing, credit for non-open, non-defective memory will be credited at the current price only.
- If a product arrives DOA (dead on arrival), or if any product or part is defective, the customer should contact the manufacturer directly for service or exchange. Due to manufacturer policies, Dataworld cannot accept these returns for service or exchange.
- EXCEPTION: Hewlett-Packard and Toshiba Products that arrive DOA (dead on arrival) may be returned to Dataworld for replacement within 5 days of shipment date, provided that the products are returned in their original packaging.
All Other Hardware Products :
- Products that are in their original factory-sealed containers may be returned to Dataworld within 15 days from invoice date for a refund or exchange.
- Products that have been opened may be returned to Dataworld within 15 days of invoice date, although such returns will be charged a minimum 15% restocking fee. All products must be returned in a re-saleable condition. Any manuals, cables etc… that are missing will result in rejection of the return or an additional restocking fee, at Dataworld's sole discretion.
- Products that are DOA (dead on arrival) or defective may be returned to Dataworld for exchange within 15 days of shipment date with no restocking fee (Please read EXCEPTION above).
